@vonny,
That's a nice photo. Interesting building problem - they probably couldn't do a foundation to make the building level. Or are my eyes looking at it wrong?
Or maybe the photographer was leaning..

@Region Philbis,
RP, Beautiful picture, but I notice some inconsistency in that photograph. Do you know what I'm thinking?

@cicerone imposter,
Nope, but I'm interested.

I'm thinking I'm mad at myself for not going on that trip to Japan, back in 1981, when I had a chance. The fellow who was taking a group from our landscape architecture program was from Japan and knew the places to see very well As usual I didn't have the money, but I should have just put it on a credit card and paid it off later.

@ossobuco,
The roof lines of Japanese buildings differ from Chinese ones. Prominent curves at the roof corners are not common in Japanese architecture.

@cicerone imposter,
Ah, I forgot about that, if I ever knew it.

I just found a dangerous website for me - the Saatchi online website re photography and other arts.

Back when I bring a few to this thread...

Off topic, probably, but it is about humans acting on nature.
