@vonny,
That's great, Vonny.

I suppose I'm drawn to black swans (that is a swan, isn't it?). I used to be all happy to see the black duck in the main Venice (CA) canal area.
My formative experience was with my father and mother, sometime during our year in New York City, taking me on the Merritt Parkway to where there were ponds with ducks. He was feeding one, with what I don't remember, and the duck took his lit cigar out of his mouth. I don't remember the denouement, but I don't think it was bad.

Wonderful pictures!! What apleasure.

At the moment I am at the ocean - no seagulls. they have moved to town where it is easier to dine on McDonalds leftover than to go fishing

Very Happy Very Happy

We get them in our town centre - a long way inland - they come up river, then search for food in the marketplace!

@saab,
I've heard of seagulls attacking people, but mainly at coastal resorts, not inland. They seem particularly aggressive where food is concerned, and quite often dive-bomb people eating sandwiches and ice-cream in the open air.

@vonny,
I saw your swan picture that reminded me of the picture I took in Japan in 2004.
