@tsarstepan,
So close but no cigar for Pitt. They managed to last second shot but fell short. Sad

Johnboy, ranked 3867th in the NYTimes contest, leaps out to a 31 point lead over the rest of the field here who trudge in in 19000th place.
My bracket aint pretty but it is better than yalls.

@realjohnboy,
I'm afeared that W. Virginia is going to sneak through and win..

@tsarstepan,
And this:
How badly have player's brackets been busted through this point?
Johnboy leads in points scored so far but his unsuccessful picks preclude him from getting 320 points. Liontamerex, in 2nd place, is also down 320 in future point potential. Tico and Swimpy are down 340 and Djjd62 and Ehbeth are down 440.
Osso's picks, her mis-picks, only cost her 60 points in the remaining rounds and Tsarstepan is close behind at 80. They are in good shape.

@realjohnboy,
Although it will further damage my bracket, I would love to see Cornell continue to advance. Though Kentucky will be a very Herculean task for the Big Red!

At half-time: Butler 35 Syracuse 25.
The Orange Men have been plagued by turnovers.
All of us (except Djjd who didn't have them getting this far) have Syracuse winning tonight. Tsartepan has them winning the tournament.

@realjohnboy,
I've been gritting my teeth silently until I see that Syracuse turns it around in the second half of the game. Mad

Washington 29 West Virginia 27 @ halftime. Basket loads of turnovers by the Mountaineers. Johnboy, Liontamerx, Swimpy and Tsartepan are the only players with a dog in this fight and we all have WVA.

@realjohnboy,
Luckily I saved myself some syracuse despair by screwing up some pizza making in the kitchen. The thawed dough turned out to be starter (I thought it looked funny) and I got pulled into making an entirely new bread recipe of my very own. I come back and Syracuse is now one point ahead.. Bravo.

@tsarstepan,
Syracuse needs a little patience and slow it down. Search for the safe shots and drain the clock. Exploit the Butler misses and the 4 point lead as well.
