it's amazing to me how seriously people take politics
99.9% of all politicians are self serving scumbag bastards, yet people will defend the ones they think are right (hint, none of them are) with every inch of their being

@Cycloptichorn,
Yea true story.
I said
Quote:
sarah palin has issued a statement of condolence regarding the recent earthquake in chili, and stated her concern for potential price-gouging of baby back ribs
And then suddenly my "friend" tells me she can not be friends with a "Palin hater".
I wouldn't say stupid. But taking things to seriously, yes.

Dude, you're better off without having such stupid friends. And I would say stupid; if you believe Palin is anything but a joke, you're not an intelligent person.
I recall it involved Obama and that birth certificate. The person who thought I was being serious noted that I was out of character but was probably having a bad day in politics.

Well Seed I thought that it was funny! I can't stand politics. I was at my friends house and they got in a debate because 2 of them are republican and the other 2 weren't. I finally said something like I came over to drink beer not listen to people argue!! haha. I'm also taking American Federal Government online for school and it's constant arguing, of course.

I hate politics also. But what ya gonna do. There is a cultural war for the soul of the country that's hard to avoid.
