Don't use 'the' unless you have some specific group of children in mind, Xiaowangshu, and even then there would likely be a reference to them, eg
it is only a phrase about the children who/that were mentioned in the article.
Some possible examples of 'grow into life'
Most children will get over their various fears and concerns and grow into life.
