This month, Robert Naviaux and some of his colleagues petitioned the National Center for Health Statistics to officially recognize nearly 400 newly described mitochondrial disorders. Currently, the NCHS recognizes only four.

So, now all I need to do is figure out how many researchers it will take to change the lightbulbs in my cells.
