Should "especial affects " be "especially affects "?
Context:

ADHD:
a medical condition that especial affects children and causes them to be too active and unable to be quiet or pay attention to anything for very long

Yes,

"A medical condition that especially affects children... " is a valid phrase where "especially" is an adverb. The original sentence is incorrect.
