@Amigo,
The thing on the side says "Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics 02/12/2010"

There may be some massaging, I don't know yet (sure to turn up somewhere if so).

I think it's probably pretty accurate, and I love the graphic -- great way to put things in perspective.

@sozobe,
I don't think either president can be blamed/credited for very much of that. What it most says to me is that Obama became president at the height of the recession, right when the trajectory began to turn.

@Robert Gentel,
That's possible, but it still effectively counters some damaging (and inaccurate) narratives.

I think alot of these people took massive paycuts when they rejoined the workforce. Meaning they got laidoff of there 20 an hour w/ benifits job, went six months without work and then took a job for 10 an hour with no benifits or at least thats what I am seeing in the new labor in my industry.

@Robert Gentel,
The stimulus bill happened right about the point that things changed.

@Amigo,
Twas a joke. I read his paper and subscribe to it. Much good information about the ties between government and business interests. But the conseratives on this site will dissmiss it out of hand because it is liberal. And he has facts to back up his articles.

I'm sorry, you would think I would catch that.

I don't even see Hightower as liberal. Hes just a guy talking to me. I seem to understand him pretty well. At least he is clear.
