love is a four letter word.
it is fire and pain.
or a chance of rain.
a distant faraway dove.
I cannot explain,
no song nor refrain
gives meaning to what has occurred.

Here is a nice Veggie Valentine

You may not "carrot" all for me
the way I care for you.
You may "turnip" your nose
when I plead with you.
But if your heart should "beet" with mine
Forever "lettuce" hope
there is no reason in the world
Why we two "cantaloupe"

vegemite needs cheese:

fromages pasteurise so gentle brie says
camembertly try your faith in cheeses

unfortunately this original composition continues in the same blue vein
