please look at this..
Professional tennis players, similar to professionals in other sports, exhibit different strengths such as serving with speed and accuracy, performing with endurance and running swiftly even late in a match and defending against tricky drop shots and lobs.

what does 'running swiftly even late in a match ' mean ?

late in the match ? I saw in the TV they run pretty fast!. ..no late at all Smile I could not understand what is 'late' here . did you get it ?

by the way , is not 'drop shots' are shots which drops outside the court ?

Can you please explain this a bit . Thanks for the help & your time.

tennis consists of many games. when a player wins 6 games he wins the "set"
a match consists of 5 sets. if a player wins 3 sets in a row that player wins the match. if a player wins 2 sets then loses 2 sets a final set is played to decide the winner

The first few games could be considered to happen early in the match. If a match is in its 5th set the games being played are considered to be happening late in the match.

A drop shot is a tennis shot that drops short, just over the net but still in play.
