cowboy, derogatory in lots of ways. Break the word down its self... Cow Boy, think of all the negative aspects of being a boy. Young Naive Wreckless Ignorant Selfish. Real folks that deal and are good with animals have different names based on there discipline's. Buckaroo, Cattleman, Ranch hand, Hired Man. Thanks to movies and ignorance, cowboy has became a fad. Based all wrong to begin with and still shows through in most aspects of these now a day wannabe ones.
