ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The Albuquerque Police Department said it is still looking for the people responsible for a shooting at a movie theater Saturday night.
Investigators said it happened at Century Rio 24 during a showing of the movie "Avatar."
"I heard the pop and it sounded like a 22 pistol," said Edwin Cathui.
"I heard something like a shot or she's shot or something about a shot," said Bernice Mendoza. "So initially we stayed down."
Detectives evacuated the theater after a gun shot was fired into an open movie theater. One movie-goer was shot in the ankle.
...this article didn't mention what crime was being prevented?

A .22? I didn't think people in NM carried anything smaller than a .44 magnum.
@tsarstepan,
Where'd you get that baby picture of David?
