Serious Case of Neglect

Mumpad got chocolates for christmas. They are ferrero rochere in a hard clear plastic christmas tree shaped box. these poor chocolates have remained untouched and unloved in the refirigerator since christmas.
I suggested several days ago that they looked in serious need of some attention but she has not acted.
I believe i should take matters into my own hands and give these poor cold chocolates the love and respect they deserve.
my next best suggestion would be to call the CPS (chocolate protectection service)
what do readers advise?

Offer them to the kangaroo, if the owner does not object.

Those things have a hazel nut in the center, and chopped hazel nuts in the chocolate coating. Those just won't keep forever. I say DP needs to take action now, so that they won't spoil.

Dad:
You need a bottle some good Cabernet. Some quiet music.
Pour a glass for each of you.
Look into Mum's eyes and say "Do you know what would go good with this?"
Then tear into that Christmas Tree box.

joe (exellent suggestion) Nation. Although not sure about the cabernet. Frangelico might be more convincing.

I am a victim of a Christmas time "Ferrero Rochere regift"
My candies were powdery white, stale, and hard.
Sharing is always an option.

There are white chocolates (which of course are not really chocolate at all) there are milk (light brown) chocolates and there are dark chocolates.

If i (ahem ...we) eat the dark ones first is that chocolate racism?
