Good timing with this article. I've been having trouble with a stubborn acheles tendon in my left heel. I've been exercising more then usual, mostly swimming and water exercises, walking and a beginning form of pilates. The muscles in my legs are getting stronger but the tendon just seems to refuse to stretch and becomes tender to walk on if I don't let it rest a day between exercising. The exercises shown in the article for the knee are some of the stretching exercises I do in the warm spa water to warm up before I go swimming.

Butrflynet, I like this article because I don't think most people know how to protect their bodies---unless they are athletes.

Wacky tendons do tend to you trouble if you don't attend to them properly. Razz
