@NettieK,
Wet, wet, WET!!! Very Happy

I think I can see the beginnings of it here, Nettie. Though I can't say for certain ...
The temperature has certainly dropped dramatically, anyway. I just shut all the doors & windows of my little house.
This is going to be a very exciting afternoon! Wink

@msolga,
All doors open here, I just have to let the beautiful scent of my jasmin in. Its not cold. Gauge now reading 25mm or 1" I planted a couple of wattles out during the week, what great timing. Farmers have been busy bailing up here leading up to the rain this weekend. Oh it is so good.

44.5 mm over the last 24 hours. Excellent. Some blue sky can be seen now, but still heavy clouds around us.

good to hear msolga that you didn't have any leaks. It is always worrying when you get a new roof on what will happen. We had new guttering put on the back of the house a few weeks ago and 2 new raintanks installed. Not a leak to be seen. But the tanks are totally overflowing. Ron has just been checking his weatherzone, looks like most of the rain has finished but we should just get some light misty rain on and off throughout the day.

@NettieK,
I had leaks, serious ones ( Shocked ) in my very old roof, just a few months ago, Nettie. I was online, on this very thread at the time! Smile

Delighted you've received so much rain. And that your tanks are now full. (I wish I could install a few tanks!) Have you taken "before & after" photographs?

Too bad about "the spring racing carnival" in Melbourne, huh? Wink
Looks like a very soggy Cup Day holiday this Tuesday.

BENEDICTINE - not B & B - is my favourite - even in the summer - but ONE drink is plenty

That's the exciting headline after all that rain! Neutral
The best things have looked for quite some time!
I wonder what it would take to get them to 75%, 85% or maybe (gasp) 95% full?

@msolga,
So it's safe to assume you're being an optimist about this issue MsOlga since you could have written that the dams were half empty. Smile
