@msolga,
Ha! I'm drenched now! Smile

Just ran outside to put all my empty grey water buckets in strategic spots, to catch what they can. Every little bit of saved water counts!

More, more, I say! Very Happy

@Rockhead,
No, but she's staying very close, Rocky.

This is very scary for her. Very noisy! And very wet! Smile

@Rockhead,
Still not up to music today, sadly.
I bit wrung out from a hard week, Rocky. Neutral

But, you've gotta remember, the presence of rain is a very strange thing indeed for a 6 year old cat in Melbourne, Oz.
Like: "what is this strange wet stuff?" Confused

Oh bugger & damn!

I think the rain show might now be over. Sad

@msolga,
No, got that wrong.

Still a bit of the wet stuff to go. Smile

But now it's a quieter, gentler, variety of rain. But sort of determined, all the same.

Soothing, you might say. Smile

@msolga,
There's some happening here!!!

I have no idea how much, and neither does any weather service I can rustle up...but the useless gutters I can see are really flowing (prolly more due to being blocked with crap than anything) .

I was just writing that it was coming down in the most gentle of soaking rains, when it suddenly got quite heavy...but it is now back to that delicious soaking stuff.

It was supposed to happen tomorrow.....oh how I hope it just keeps coming and coming.

Please!!!!!

@dlowan,
Actually, this is almost unprecedented.

It is Womadelaide weekend...which is usually well into the forties and dry as the arsehole of a camel in the Sahara.

It is also Festival and Fringe...ditto.

Coolth AND rain at this time of year.

A miracle.

Though the rain has stopped...hopefully only to make itself stronger.

Edit: Looks as though we've had up to 1.4 mm in some places in the city....none at all in others.

But surely 1.4 mm isn't very much at all . . .

@dlowan,
Well . . . i can see your point. Coming from a relatively wet climate, i'm unimpressed unless it's a real goose grounder.
