@msolga,
Ah MsOlga, been looking for the perfect gift for you and found it...

You need to choose one...

http://www.doobybrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/melbourne-tram-book.jpg

Then, I would ask Mother Christmas to deliver you your very own rattler tram

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/110/365492021_0137d7b142.jpg?v=0

of course it would have the best seating and be luxurious to get you to and from

and then to a Luxury Cake Shop at St Kilda

@Izzie,
Thanks for the riding snowblower Izzie! It's finally snowing here.

May I join you in a glass of wine msolga? The thought of continued snowfall will drive me to drink!

A wine with Tai? You've talked me into it, you smooth talkin' devil! Very Happy

You know, I think you may be the first northern American I've come across here who doesn't love snow. You're not looking forward to a white Christmas? (Me, it'd take a lotta getting used to!)

@msolga,
A beautiful white Christmas indoors with a roaring fire? Yes. Driving in it? Shoveling it? Not so much. We may have to travel north to see our son over Christmas -- I would love good weather and clear roads!

@Tai Chi,
I see your point!

I'll cross my fingers for you then, Tai. Or perhaps you'd like clear roads and good weather as your special gift? Smile

science has really let us down in two major areas as far as i'm concerned

i'd like to see us develop grass that grows about 2 1/2 inches high and stops, no grass cutting

and heated roads and sidewalks for the winter, or snow that only falls on the grassy areas, not the roads or sidewalks, though i'm guessing the second bit might be beyond sciences reach

Enough of these so you can change them daily. No 3 is rather fetching, I think!:
