When I was stationed in Morocco in the late fifties, a few of us stayed at the hotel where they filmed The Man Who Knew Too Much. We used to spend quite a few weekends in Marrakesh to visit the medina and the American club they had in the new section of town.
A guy I was stationed in Morocco with drove up to Austin from Terrell last year when I visited our son, and had a great time talking about old times.
