Sweet Home Chicago

Whenever I get a chance to go to Chicago, I meet up with joefromchicago, RJB and whoever else is visiting to go listen to some good blues and jazz. Gotta plan on another trip to Chicago for 2012.

I was aiming to watch the Blues Brothers but never go to see it. I finally got the dvd from the library. I saw both Blues Brothers movies. I liked the first one better. Too bad John Belushi died. I was surprised Chicago was the location of the movie. Wow those chase scenes were crazy. Can't believe they did all those things to City Hall. Driving thru the lobby. Lucky they didn't knock down the Picasso bird.

You shulda seen what they did to film Batman recently.

I haven't seen the latest Batman.

My wife and I haven't seen it yet, but hope to soon.

I recently saw Pal Joey starring Rita Hayworth, Frank Sinatra and Kim Novak. I was surprised that the song "The lady is a tramp" was from this movie.
