Well, she became Governor of America 's biggest State.
Thats how the GOP measures its constituency , by the acre .

If we have her as a candidate in 2012, I for one, will not be so quick to dodge her impact. If an election were held today, it would be a referendum on Obama, not the percieved dullness of his opponent.
As a liberal, she has me somewaht concerned because shes saying just the right things to rally the base and the next few layers up.
I dont believe that the GOP could market a candidate like Tom Ridge , whereas a Palin, Gingrich ticket could have serious impact.

Am I kidding? Just like the kids in Hearts in Atlantis, I see what the nation sees. I dont necessarilly like it, but I can see it.

Then the Demo candidate won't even have to campaign; he'll be a shoo-in.

Sadly, that isn't the case, Merry. Remember the "How can _____ million Americans be so dumb?"
Yes, to this day I have no idea why so many millions voted for both Bill Clinton and GW Bush, twice yet.

@farmerman,
That would be Alaska and Texas; they both produced some of the worst governors in the country. One was a quitter, and the other one didn't know when to quit. LOL

"W successfully prevented Al Gore and Kerry from taking the Presidency",

thereby causing the deaths of well over a hundred thousand innocents.

And Om's satisfied.

No surprise there.

@JTT,
Yup, they'd rather see wars and our children getting killed in the battle fields half way around the world rather than taking care of our own here at home. Where they have learned to love wars and spend our treasure in other countries will remain the mystery of politics for decades, if not centuries, to come.

She's also a quitter;

Isn't that a bit unfair, CI, a quitter? She only changed five colleges in five years to get a four year degree or was that a simple two year degree she got?

Anywoo, she's clearly outstanding Repub/conswervative material.

@JTT,
Can't argue with you there! Excellent GOP candidate for the conservatives.

And to be a gentleman, I wish them good luck!

SARAH PALIN AND A LITTLE GIRL ON A PLANE
Sarah Palin was seated next to a little girl on the airplane leaving from Alaska when the she turned to her and said, '”Let's talk. I've heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passengers.”

The little girl, who had just opened her book, closed it slowly and said to the Ms Palin, 'What would you like to talk about?'

“Oh, I don't know,'” she said. “How about global warming or universal health care or the right to own guns?” and she smiled smugly.

“OK,” the little girl said. '”Those could be interesting topics. But let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a soft flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is?”

Palin, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says, '”Hmmm, I have no idea.'”

To which the little girl replies, “Do you really feel qualified to discuss global warming or the downside of gun ownership or universal health care when you don't know ****?”
