I'm here for the week, and then I'm back in Van. Weird timing on my behalf.
Yes, Edmonton has the University of Alberta, Grant McEwan College - 4 campuses, The Northern Alberta Institue of Tech - N.A.I.T. - 4 campuses and a few other smaller colleges.

Well, that shoud remain as a
blot on his escutcheon.
The hostages shoud all sue him; a class action suit.

Thank goodness for that!
Best possible outcome. No one what killed or injured.

I meant to say:

(In case anyone was wondering.

Oh, I bet David was hoping someone would get shot.
I'm happy about this too. I have a few friends that work in and around that building. They are all safe.
The police here generally don't try and escalate problems. The last guy who held the WCB offices hostage fell asleep, so no one was injured then either. Another poor fellow, killed himself in the parking lot a few years ago. Pain is a horrible beast to live with.
Everyone is sovereign and autonomous as to the right
to end his Earthly life, if he feels like it; as to that, he is answerable to no one on Earth.
However, suicides who have returned from death
have reported some problems with that.
