Yeah. 24/7 could get annoying, for example.

(Reminds me, I saw a listing for a band called "Priapism" at a kid-friendly event. I wondered if anyone involved [except for the band, presumably] actually knew what the word meant...)

Indeed.

I was thinking that one's attitude to that which is on the other end of the chubby at the time is something of a determining factor.
