I am having much trouble uploading JLNobdys pictures of his paintings using the Realm. I have been getting the picture successfully uploaded for about five days know but they never show up at A2k. They JLNs paintings are sucessfully posted to the realm. What am I doing wrong?

Three of them are there now. A big thank you to who ever fixed it for me.

I tried to post an image, it showed a red x, so I tried just using the URL, and it still doesn't link. Now when I try to view the image by using the ORIGINAL address from the actual webpage, I am told the file has moved HERE (to an A2K page). What does this mean? Why did the original image get "hijacked" and end up here?

If this is about not permitting remote hosting, I didn't see anything about it in the Freeweb TOS.

Navigate directly to the page containing the image to which you wish to link. Right-click on the image itself, select "Properties", and copy the image URL as listed, then append the image tags to it to cause it to appear in your post. The image itself does not "Exist" on the webpage; it has its own URL to whch the page on which it appears links.

I think that host blocks both hotlinking as well as direct file access of images.

timberlandko, thanks, but this is the only image link I've had problems with.

Craven, I think you're right. It seems to only allow the html page to be hotlinked, and that's not what I wanted to do. In the future I'll have to use my personal website for image posting instead of Freeweb.
