I'm afraid CdK's got the answer there ... the reason I thought I had it was that it was cached in my browser. A fresh browser and a cleared cache gives me the broken link "red x in a box" too. I shoulda checked with a different machine before gettin' all know-it-all-and-like-that. My bad. Sorry. Embarrassed

Reading all this seems so complicated, so I decided to see if my usual way will get pictures posted.

Just for the outright deliciously evil meanness of it, I invite anyone interested in a truly unique, if perhaps uhhhhhh .... well, "repetitive" might say it best, web experience invloving badgers and mushroons and snakes and really annoying background audio to be brave and click on the badger below.

Oh, and if you do go there, it doesn't change with time, and it won't shut itself off. You'll have to leave the webpage on your own.

Don't say I didn't warn ya Twisted Evil Laughing

Ha ha! That had me entranced for about 5 minutes. Nice one, Timber.

One thing, can you point me in the right direction to find instructions about putting a link within a picture, like you did with our little black & white friend above?

Sure, no problem; the code for the image ..." [img]... image url ... [/img] " is placed, instead of text to be rendered as a link, in the text segment of a link code. The image then is rendered as the link.

[url=... url of desired page ... ][img] ... image url ... [/img][/url]

'Course, now that I told ya that, I'm gonna hafta kill ya "lol:

Badger Badger Badger is reminiscent of The Muppet Show's Trudge, Trudge, Smash, Smash.

Wow, I haven't come across something like this in quite awhile.

I am having trouble learning how to post an image. I type the whole url in (I can't paste it in) the little image button and all that comes up is a link.

Image/Link exercise. Can I make an image link?

http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0VQCfAlgZXkI0gq0S4Ys1TMj6sw2E9*8lazdMKx8IK43Oa63Ti*btiwgpeT6klMimlq1rQEcDoy5jFKXBX5D75dIhMUD6oC*2VAmuCGPOTf6SIlcyyfaOi*Srl43JrNAj/neko%20nomad%20248.jpghttp://www.maxwellhouse.com/maxwellhouse/images/usen1/pictures/Spiced_Brazilian_Mocha.jpg

I think the answer is no. The image url doesn't work as a page reference.

I think the answer is no. The picture's URL didnt work as Page Title.

I can make an image link on a Word document or on an e-mail message page.

Sure ya can, if I understand what it is you're tryin' ta do. Just insert the image code between the url tags for the link you want the image to go to when clicked - click the image below, and it'll take you to the product page:

http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0VQCfAlgZXkI0gq0S4Ys1TMj6sw2E9*8lazdMKx8IK43Oa63Ti*btiwgpeT6klMimlq1rQEcDoy5jFKXBX5D75dIhMUD6oC*2VAmuCGPOTf6SIlcyyfaOi*Srl43JrNAj/neko%20nomad%20248.jpg

Here's the code for that (broken up into shorter lines to avoid distorting this page - don't copy-and- paste this without removing the line breaks and closing it up into a continuous, no-spaces-between-characters text string):
Code:[url=http://www.maxwellhouse.com/maxwellhouse/page?siteid=maxwellhouse-prd&locale=usen1&PagecRef=278]

[img]http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0VQCfAlgZXkI0gq0S4Ys1TMj6sw2E9*8laz

2VAmuCGPOTf6SIlcyyfaOi*Srl43JrNAj/neko%20nomad%20248.jpg[/img][/url]

So, what you'd do is

[url=whatever the link url is][img]whatever the image url is[/img][/url]

Is that what you're after?

Will work on your tip, timberland.

What I'm after is a photoimage that functions as a link-- you know- the image you click on to fetch a webpage.

Thanks for the response.

OK .... well, that's what that'll do. The image will be the clickable link, instead of the link bein' descriptive text.
