Maybe they should leave the Union, especially if they want to become North Mexico. I hear the drug trade is very profitable....and Texas has so many wide and open areas. Most of it very beautiful...well beautiful at least now...maybe not so much once the cartels take control. I have a sister-in-law and two nephews living near Austin, she tells me the drug trade is causing more and more problems as drug traffikers bring their families to live away from the Mexico madness...they think it will be safer in the US. Of course if it decides it doesn't want to be part of the United States, well, it won't take long before the rest of the drug runners are there followed almost immediately with the murders and kidnappings. Not that Texas doesn't have that already, it's just going to get bigger.

After Glenn Becks empty threats that the states might-just-maybe-but-not-really secede form the USA, I wonder if he'd say that this is a perfectly valid idea with good principles.

Maybe we should trade: you get all the Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh fans, Jay Leno, all the Teabaggers, Sarah Palin, Republicans, Conservatives, pseudo-Christians and we get the Socialists, Liberals, Progressives, Democrats, Gays, minorities, college graduates, Obama supporters, The Dixie Chicks and, of course, Willie Nelson.

Also, we'll stop broadcasting NPR into your sand-blown desert, but only if we could be rid of Fox "News" and all the mentally incompetent that listen to that nonsense.

The more I think about it, the more I agree with the guy in the video (except for the part about hating America: even when Bush was president, I never hated our country).
