interesting, I just got a PM from the above poster, it said "**** off my page idiot" I'm guessing he/she isn't all that interested in the colonies.

Learning to spell American and European would be a good start. Making a rational distinction between the history of European colonization and "Americans" and "Natives" would be the logical next step.

If you replace the word "page" with the word "land" the poster might be able to say this was the Europeans response to native populations when they started their expansions.
