Obviously, it is overindulgent parents. I mean, Iulius Caesar was goin' to toga parties from the time he was knee-high. His parents got him a brand new chariot, fully paid-off, as soon as he finished rhetoric school. And then there was Attila the Hungry. His mother was stuffin' as much curdled mare's milk into his insatiable maw as she could from the time he was in diapers. If his father objected, she threatened to move her mother in--permanently. He had, like, no curfew. I don't just mean weekends, he had no curfew on school nights! And Temujin--would he work hard and take over the old man's yurt business when he grew up? No way, he was too special. His mother let him ride rough shod over the whole family--literally, you wouldn't believe the family's medical bills. Then some Chinese envoys told him his mother dressed him funny. It all got ugly after that. That's when he vowed to become the great king--the Chingis Kahn

This is a complicated and intricate subject, and it will be difficult enough to for conservatives to follow along as it is, don't be draggin' no stupid historical facts into the discussion. It is obvious that spoiled-rotten, conservative and ego-centric kids grow up with an overwhelming desire to conquer the world.
Don't even get me started on Adolf "all the other kids got one" Hitler.
That and they got a taste of power...
@Setanta,
I dunno. Ya think Billy from Normandy was spoiled?
@Merry Andrew,
Oh yeah, that boy was as big as a house. He was obviously an over-fed, pampered little bastard (and i do mean bastard).
Early toilet training and too much sugar.
