I have had many dogs mostly pugs which were all rescue dogs. They were all inside dogs & were allowed to run outside as they wished. They were rarely crated & were all loved very much. My last one passed last year & I miss her so much!

I am planning to set-up a boundary for my Staffy as he keeps on running around the house like a lunatic dog. What are your thoughts about convertible wood pet gates?

Sounds like he's just trying to burn off some energy. Maybe he needs more exercise.

I've always used wood pet gates across some room entrances when I want to keep some areas off limits. I've never had a problem with it and neither did any of my dogs.
