The Dog House

I taught him, paw has got to be the easiest thing to teach a dog. I've never met a dog who didn't learn it within 20 minutes.

Harry does it for "bacon" (the catch all term he knows for his dog treats).

Oh, now I'm embarrassed. I messed up Timber's name, calling him Timberwolf instead of Timberlandko. My regrets.

My dog weighs 68 pounds. She is five yrs old. She's really just a big baby.

Corgis are my favorite dogs! They're so huggably cute!

I can tell he's (Bodhidarma) a wonderful dog. Look at that face (the first picture ). Just want to kiss it. [sigh] Love at first sight.

I miss La Neige so much. I couldn't take care of her when her mother and my best friend died in May. She now resides in Pittsburgh, living with her mother's parents, (her human grandparents).

Those were good times.

I do believe that the word for "bacon" in some cultures can be directly translated back into English as "love." Don't ask me about my sources as its too early in the morning for factual verification.

That's exactly what it was for us. We were surprised to walk into our pet store and find they were having an adoption day. We weren't planning on going home with another pet, but everyone here can atest that I'm a sucker for animals. We were actually looking at another dog when at the other end of the room someone was handing Bodhi BACK to the adoption agent. Apparently they were not interested, but we ran over and snagged him. It's been bliss ever sice.

In fact he's right here hoping the food on my plate will jump off to him if he stares at it hard enough.

Oh she is so pretty! I have always wanted a Huskie or Malamute(sp?) but I could never bring myself to own one in Texas. I think it's just way to hot here for a cold weather dog.
