Hi George, Someone pointed out to me that if I was quoting from Guy Davenport's story, "C. Musonius Rufus", I got it wrong. It should be "as" and not "to". "The gods are indifferent as gravity". So tho, I like the sound of the previous one, can you alter it to the correct phrase. If indeed , it requires it.

It is from a Greek dude, Menander, but Latin will will work.
