I looked at my Rats Teeth and the Bottom two at the front are Really too long
does anybody know what I could do? If you do,Please write back. x
@HaylezD2,
Make sure your rattie has something to chew on. They usually chew incessantly if they have something to work with. If they don't, they'll just keep getting longer.
@roger,
All rodents' teeth grow continuously. They need something gritty to chew on.
If the teeth have grown too long, maybe a vet would have to file them to give the animal a start.
Wood chips work best when given on a regular basis.
If it is hard for the rat to eat? Do take it to a vet.
@HaylezD2,
If your rat has a misaligned jaw or other health problem then it's teeth with get way too long. You must let your vet clip the baby's teeth or tell you how b/c it can starve to death.
