BBB isn't doing too well. I'm driving her to an ortho doc tomorrow to have her hip and knee looked at. At the least, she'll need a cortizone injection for the hip and possibly a replacement. Fortunately, X-rays don't show a break. I was worred about that because of the many falls she's had lately. It also looks like the prosthesis in her knee is finally failing after 29 years and will either need to be reglued or replaced. She's not at all happy about that.
She's on pain pills and crutches for now and doesn't get around easily.

Wow, sorry to hear about your mom's hip and pain and falls, Buttrflynet... ouch! And she doesn't look 80 to me (at least when I saw her). Many happy returns, BBB. I truly hope you're feeling better very soon.
