Why does this thread get so hung up? I've been looking to read FF's post for a half hour. Still can't see it.

I'm no expert but I've seen the trend with really long threads (this one has 400 pages), that after multiple pages, the new posts get lost or hung up when the next page is due to roll over.

As a result, people often try to manually force it with a bump. I've no idea why other than there's that highly technical something called a software glitch.

ok. that makes a lot of sense. Maybe the mods can advise me on whether it's time to start a Cap The Cart II

I hate to do that because people still get a kick out of reading the old ones. Plus the biggest winners are still listed on the first page.
