This is fun - but how do you copy the specific cartoon onto your post?

What I do is quote a previous post with the image in it and just edit the caption text to something of my own.

sully, like butterfly, you can either just click quote off of someone elses post, and put in your own words, or better yet....

hover over cartoon,
right click,
click on "properties"
highlight the entire address, which should be somewhere in the middle of the properties window, then right click on the highlighted part, and choose "copy"

then....

start you own post, right click, and choose "paste"
Finally, highlight that URL address, and click on the little box above your post that says "Img"

For instance, the address that I copied off the properties window for the cartoon with with sheriff and varmits is....

http://www.newyorker.com/images/2010/02/15/p465/100215_contest_p465.jpg

If I highlight it and then click the img button, I get this....

http://www.newyorker.com/images/2010/02/15/p465/100215_contest_p465.jpg

just practice it a few times.

No, your tutorial made sense, if you were already familiar with the concept.
