That's what I do. It doesn't work for me! I've tried numerous times - just to make sure. Words are not a problem.

That's weird. What's wrong with your computer, I wonder? I just click on the 'quote' function and everything, including the image. appears in the 'response' window. Then I just delete everything except what's between [img] and [/img]
and we're good to go.

I wonder if it'd work if you right- clicked on the image instead and selected 'copy URL'?

My quote button doesn't work like that - it just inserts the quote tags and I have to copy and paste what I want to quote. For this thread I right click on the image and copy image URL - then insert click on the Img button and paste the URL between the img tags.

Time to talk OS and browser I'm guessing. I'm Chrome on a PC with Windows 7 - what've you got CI?

I know it's weird; it's the first time this strange defect has happened to any of my computers - and I've owned quite a few during the past 30- or so years.

The other strange thing is that I can copy and past from any other site, but not a2k.
