Hi everybody, my brother in law has this problem. He feels like a full bladder and he has to urinate,but he can't empty it.

When he goes there only will be few drops of urine coming out.
That's so painful as he said.

It's been more than three years since this. He did many tests and xray,but nothing was wrong with him.

Today we went to another hospital. The doctor did the prostate touching thing again. Nothing wrong again. He was given some urals and " zinoximor" tablets. He has an appointment tomorrow. Hope that goes fine.

Thank you guys for any thoughts

@navigator,
I hate to say it, but that can be a sign of a sexually transmitted disease. Has he been tested for syphilis, gonorrhea? Not that you'd necessarily come out and ask him about that - might want to simply ask him if he's been tested for all possible diseases.

And it does, also, sound like the prostate, particularly if he's over 50.

@navigator,
The prescribed drug is an antibiotic used to treat urinary infections and prostatitis. It is usually effective in a few days.
Rectal examination of the prostrate is a search for ridges which could indicate a tumour. If a tumour is suspected a biopsy is taken. The fact that this has not proceded is a good sign.

@jespah,
Hi jespah, I don't think he has anything related to STD. He did the rectal

examination and found has some prostate congestion, he was given,

TERAZOSIN 4 mg at bed time for 90 days.

Thanks .

@fresco,
Thanks fresco for valuable info, as said to jespah. Howver, he called me

today and said that there is nothing new with this medication.

Still the problem.

@navigator,
Saw Palmeto is an established herbal remedy for benign enlarged prostrate.
Its worth consideration if the condition persists.

@fresco,
I'm going to visit him this night, I will see how he is going on with that

medication.

I'll check that Saw Palmeto.
