Can someone translate this?

How about a translation, into Mandarin Chinese might be nice, of the phrase

"I decided to get my skin dyed with indelible inks so I can be like the rest of these knuckleheads"

Too much?

Yeah, that is too much.

How about: "I wanted something to regret in 20 years."

I don't understand the obsession with tattoos in Latin. Is it supposed to make someone curious enough to ask about it? It wouldn't take long for people to reach the point at which they think "Oh, good, another asshole tattooed with a language he can't speak, read or write." I'd would have thought the fad would have passed by now.

Besides, whatever happened to the good old standbys like "Mom," and "Death Before Dishonor?"

@jmcook1023,
Quote:
"Fight the Good Fight, Finish the Race, Keep the Faith"

Bonam pugnam pugna. Cursum consumma. Fidem serva.

OK, time for my usual caveat:

Please have someone else review this before committing to a tattoo.
I'm not a professional Latin scholar, just a guy who does this for fun.

@George,

David Beckham, a British footballer, has a Thai or Burmese slogan on his arm, but according to some it is wrong.

Shame.

He's got an eagle on his neck, though.

@McTag,

No, I was wrong, it's an angel and a flying cross.

Doesn't make him look any less of a wazzock, though. imho.
