"Love Don't Cost a Thing" is the title of a film, starring Nick Cannon, Christina Milian and Steve Harvey.

I suspect that we are intended to interpret the title as meaning that we can love someone without being obliged to make any sacrifice, monetary or otherwise, in doing so.
