No, the media should exercise judgment as to what is news worthy. That said however, all people should be allowed to say what ever they want to say, and all people who hear someone say something should use their own best judgment as to what to make of what they have heard. This includes the right to either reward or punish the speaker as they see fit.

I will go to my grave believing that everything should be on the table re discussion, we should be able to talk freely about everything. Those who desire to limit speech must be ruthlessly eliminated (symbolically, IE all should agree to ignore them until such time as they consent to free speech).
