That pig is so sweet looking.
I feel like I've read about this stuff for decades, re the mix of swine/birds/humans, rather a natural thing in "small holdings" and even in bigger ones. Many of the ancestors of us in the united states lived on the floor above the stables, now famed tuscan kitchens, or whatever.
Some of the problem has to do with waste distribution and water input. Well, a big subject.
