Is Provigil (Modafinil) safe for daily, long-term use? I used to take it for fatigue and it helped a lot. I don't think much is known about its long-term risks, but I would appreciate your opinions.

Hi, echi - I could swear I read that name somewhere in the last week or two. Possibly on a thread about jet lag? But if that was one of the drug names in the article (NYTimes? LA Times?), I don't remember any cautionary words.

So I just googled 'Provigil side effects' and a whole crop of stuff showed up... you might do some reading. Presuming you already have, I don't have any idea personally. I think several people at a2k have had sleep problems - you might start a more general thread and have better luck.
