A question for the crowd.

Perhaps this question has been asked already, but I haven't been around that long and the time I do spend here is fleeting, so I may have missed it. Whatever... I'm going to ask it anyway.

What kind of car do you drive?

I'm trying to determine a few things about the participants of this board and the type of car a person drives will give me a little more insight. Myself, I drive an old beat up pickup truck. A 1974 Ford. That's just the kind of guy I am. So again, what do you drive.

Thank you for participating in this survey. I owe you for this one.

No taxie that I have seen in Dallas expect for at the DFW. Typical of the west no public tranportation of any kind everyone is supposed to own a truck or the state car, a Chevy Suburban.

Occasionally I rent a donkey. They're cheaper than a Saturn, and less likely to need gas, although they do get it frequently.

Acutally I currently own a 1995 Ford Aspire with 100,332 miles on it. I used to call it my "little ****" car until it kept on running and running and running.

Now I have some appreciation of the little white care. The only trouble I have had was in May and it was big trouble $1,656.56. But in ten years I guess that is not really that much.

I walk, because I'm a friend of the earth and care about our planet's future.

Actually, that's bull. The real reasons are that I can't afford one and don't need one. If I had the cash I'd get a big van, to keep things in...

Blue.

Cars aren't my department-- except for juggling finances to pay the loans off early.

I've been following your wicked posts today Gautam, so before you start, let me say that renting a donkey is NOT the same as renting an ass. Laughing

I have the most common car on the streets of Cambridge, MA: A Honda Civic (97, bought used). It's even silver. I have to look for the license plate to pick it out in a crowded parking lot. I recently put my coffee mug atop of another's silver honda civic by accident because I didn't check the license plate.

Montana - cool tractor. That's your son, eh?

1991 honda accord (5 speed)
It never gives me any trouble, starts at -40C and is fast off the block. I've driven it all over the country and back. It's suffering from an oil leak at the moment and a wee bit of rust. I love my car.

However, if I had my druthers, I've always wanted a land rover. I know it's a fashion faux pas to want a SUV but dammit I've wanted one since I first saw a big ole rusted tank in England as a young, impressionable girl. So sue me...
