Respected,

please clarify this for me.

what is the difference between "Around 10 O'clock and About 10 O'clock "

similarly

what is the difference between "Around 2 years/about 2 years/close to 2 years"?

It would be better if you could give some some examples in this regard.

Please correct me If i am wrong, I appreciate your help.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards

Madhu

@mcadhu,
Sounds as if this is an English language question which makes sense because our language is SO chock full of oddities, with words that sound the same but have different meanings & spellings(like weather & whether, or there & their). Now, as to your question, in my humble opinion, to say around 10 o'clock & about 10 o'clock are essentially exactly the same, except that around 10 is a little more common in usage. Now close to 2 yrs means something quite similar but slightly implies that you've not yet reached 2 yrs, whereas around 2 yrs or about 2 yrs both imply the same thing - that it could be either a little bit before OR after 2 yrs. Hope this helps your dilemma.
