where and How can we use "come to know" in the sentence?

what does it mean?



I came to know that after 2 days? ..... Is this sentence well structured?

Yes, your sentence is fine, Mcadhu.

It describes a process of gradual understanding where something doesn't become clear in an instant but rather, it takes time and maybe some thinking to understand something.

I thought I knew her pretty well after the first month but I now realize that I really only came to know her after a few years.
