Cut up some maple-smoked bacon, and sliced up one sweet Italian sausage. Cooked that down, added diced potatoes, then 2 eggs mixed with a lil bit of very mild salsa.

mmmmmmmmm

I have to figure out where I got that sausage. It had the perfect amount of fennel.

The dogs are getting a bit anxious for their share of the meal.

large bowl of fresh fruit, granola and (unsweetened) yoghurt followed by large cup of coffee with plenty milk (called a "melange" in vienna), "montreal" bagel, piece of oven-roasted turkey, cheddar and brie, also some home-made strawberry jam. it kept me going for a few hours. hbg

Taylor ham is porkroll. It's kinda like sausage with the consistency of pepperoni. Sort of... but tangy. It's a Philly/Jersey thing. I grew up on the stuff, but only allow myself to have it about once a month.
I can't really think of anything else like it.

I may have to pour myself a teacup full of beer now.

I have found it in NYC , But beware! they try to serve it uncooked . The traditional way to eat it is with scrambled eggs, american cheese and ketchup, on a kaiser roll.

I just took the link of your description to my New York travel planning thread. Something to keep an eye out for on a Friday or Saturday morning.

Highly recommended. A deli would serve it , or a diner. Not a posh eatery tho.

I am rarely about posh.

Deli meals are definitely on my New York adventure agenda.

Gimme a toasted twister with fresh cream cheese, fresh dill on the side, and a seltzer. I'll be smiling.

My wife and I went for Easter Brunch this morning, and had the shrimp omlette with potatoes, Swiss pancakes, and coffee. We shared and brought half of it home.

should have had the breakfast that we had at the springmaid resort in myrtle beach two weeks ago : coffee, bacon, eggs, sausages and patties - coffee -, pancakes, waffles, even some yoghurt, - coffee -, finally some slices of melons and oranges - mor coffee ! man, oh man, what a feast !

today : bowl of granola, fruit and yoghurt, BOILED egg, bagel jam and ONE cup of coffee.

btw. the 'springmaid resort' was originally built to allow the employees of the springmaid cotton mills to have an inexpensive holiday - still quite a nice place - but most of springmaid's business is of course gone - look for it in china and brazil.
