One cup of coffee at Italian class, then a chicken/bean burrito after I returned a casa.

since i'm a hamster, the university of scranton thinks drinking tea is good for me : " Both green and black tea lowered lipids and lipid oxidation in the hamsters, even at very low dilutions, according to a University of Scranton investigator. " . all one has to do is keep searching in google and everything will have a health benefit eventually. (we may stop over in scranton next week on our way to the carolinas so i can personally thank the researches for their brilliant work - bottoms up !). hbg

Male of female? I don'ty know about eating kiwis, but I have heard that eating kiwifruit is supposed to be very good for you.
Dark chocolate is supposed to be good for you too, but I don't suppose they mean the "Dairymilk" kind. A friend of a friend brought over some Venezualean dark choc...now that stuff, whew, what a hit! I got heaps of work done that day!!

so, what's for brakfast
kiwi fruit are an excellent source of potassium and potassium is particularly importatnt for anyone with elevated bloodpressure who is on "waterpills". our physician has recommended that we have at least one banana and one kiwifruit a day. and don't discount the health benefits of a good cup of JAVA ! hbg

Speaking of George, I wanted to tell him that I was looking at a Mr. Food cookbook yesterday, and after a while I realized I was "hearing" the recipe descriptions in George's "voice." It was very eerie, but there was something very similar in the attitude.

Here's a quote from Mr. Food's website. It doesn't showcase his personality, but it explains who he is:
Quote:
Hugely popular and beloved by millions, MR. FOOD is an original. He was the first TV chef to promote practical, "anybody can do it" cooking and food preparation solutions, and, after more than 25 years of sharing his unique brand of quick 'n' easy food tips and recipes with viewers across the country, MR. FOOD continues to find fresh ideas for cooking up fun in the kitchen.
Art Ginsburg developed the MR. FOOD entity that has been a trusted name in media syndication as well as the consumer marketplace for over a quarter of a century. With beginnings as a butcher with a flair for theatre, Art's "MR. FOOD story" began with his local television debut in 1975. Before long, MR. FOOD burst onto television screens across the Northeast in his self-syndicated, appealing 90-second food vignette. Rave reviews poured in!
His cookbooks are too basic for me, but I do use a few of his recipes, especially the one for Double Chocolate Muffins. I double the amount of chocolate morsels.

Coffee!
And two plain pieces of homemade bread...I put enough stuff IN the bread that it didn't need anything on top
Started out as a wholemeal recipe; I added wheat germ, bran, flax seed, sunflower seeds, raisins and cinnamon. It was yummilicious!

Grape nuts again. There must be an awful lot of neutered grapes out there.
