pistachio pudding? ohhhhhhh, that sounds good....
Oh yeah....it was real good. Lunch was good too, a toasted meatball sub. Am I worried about mad cow? Sometimes.
Well, that was hours ago, but it consisted of one single sausage patty. Thats all I had time for.
back in the diet saddle again...

I had something I haven't made in decades. Open face crusty bun - raspberry jam - swiss cheese - with pieces of crispy crispy crispy bacon in the swiss cheese holes. I used to do that as a kid.
oh - and a vat of Lady Grey tea
(checked out the spice and choco/cinnamon grinders for you yesterday, Zane - getting ready for the next Ohio drive in the spring)
"Open face crusty bun - raspberry jam - swiss cheese - with pieces of crispy crispy crispy bacon in the swiss cheese holes." What the hell?! That sounds delicious!
...still haven't seen those grinders locally. Spice ones, yes (although not Presidents Choice), but no desserty ones.
Had toast with half a sliced avocado and my usual big cuppa joe.

is wild salmon something that is easy to prepare?
I need to learn how to eat more fish! I can't always drive to mom's.
err, your mom feeds you?
don't you mean you need to learn how to prepare/cook more fish?
sorry, but that was just toooooo funny
Shredded wheat w/milk and a very large coffee.
Salmon is very easy to prepare, and wild salmon, especially fresh line caught, is far superior to anything farm raised. The problem is finding it. I'm lucky to know a commercial fisherman and I sometimes buy salmon from him. It's so much better than store bought.
I buy a whole, cleaned fish, remove the scales, filet the tail section (last 10"), and cut the rest into steaks (right through the backbone). Then I bury the head and fins in my garden - it's great for your tomatoes.
You can grill it, saute it, steam it, broil it, whatever you want. Serve it with a little lemon and black pepper - that's all it needs.
oh. okay, that's too hard. laf.
I was thinking it was like chicken breasts. take it out of the package, wash, add some salt/pepper, pop it in the oven, and voila?
i bought ground beef for the first time last week (to make the lasagna). after seeing it my mom's freezer so many years, I still got confused. my mom always gets the kind packed together, and the kind WalMart had...looked all wormy.
i was thinking of buying my first fish filet thingy tomorrow.
(before, i would just steal some out of my mom's freezer since it would always be to cook for them anyway)
