Last night I had osso bucco with broccoli, in a restaurant. I could not finish it, so I took some of it home in a "doggie bag". Since I am not going to be home for lunch, I ate it this morning for breakfast. A bit strange! Confused

Whole wheat toast with a slice of swiss cheese, and a banana. And for once, I managed to not cave in and buy anything from the breakfast cart in the lobby!

For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health;

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION:

Eat and drink what you like.

Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

LOL

That and a vast right-wing conspiracy....

I had a bowl of Total with four strawberries, a handful of both raspberries and blueberries, a dozen fresh roasted almonds, all swimming in Silk Soy Milk Enhanced (it has Omega-3's and other antioxidants).

I've been drinking soy milk exclusively for a few years now, mac. I think it's delicious. (Assuming that was what you were asking...)

Was pretty busy today. After my glazed donut and coffee, had my teeth cleaned, picked up my tux pants from the tailor for my cruise next week, got a haircut, picked up a refill on one of my pills, and went out for lunch. Wink

Hmmm, I made some ricotta-wheat berry-lemon peel pies when my niece was visiting this last week. She had told me about the ones her neighbor made.. and that sounded like something fun.

They're too sweet, and besides, we also made pizza - so now I have these pies still here after she's flown home. Breakfast for two weeks, I think, as I can only eat a little bit of them at a time.
