No. However, you forgot to mention that Albuquerque has lots of tumbleweeds blowing around its dusty streets.

But with only .1 innings from Mr Street the 108 will not hurt you.

But the dusty streets and tumble weeds are all on the west mesa across the river.

@ElStudHoncho,
And who, pray tell, are the low-lifes who live on the west side of the river?

@realjohnboy,
Me, for example.

(don't get me started..) $3,ooo, more, I bid on it/accepted, and did a reneg. and I could have had a swell place off of Wyoming. Better for me in my circumstances. So it goes. (Giant yard, miserable fence, bathroom the size of your right toe).

Low Life broad, that's me. Smiles.

I'm sorry I changed my mind on that one, cool neighborhood, and I could have dealt.

@ossobuco,
And sounds like you could have been our neighbor too since we are just off Wyoming.

@realjohnboy,
Asherman, Elstud, and I are east of the river Johnboy. All the other Albuquerqueans I believe are west of the river.

@Foxfyre,
This was in an, um, elderly, neighborhood of some interesting architecture. Ah, well. I was picky back then.

Congrats, Fbaezer. Your guys are doing well.
I note that that nice Armenian-Jewish guy from Cincy with the impressive facial hair got suspended for 5 days for charging the mound after a pitch came close to his mustache. Or something like that.
Bench-clearing brawls in baseball are really quite amusing. A lot of strutting around, posturing, but rarely any punches actually thrown.
So the politically conservative folks live on the east side of the river and the liberals live on the west? I forgot to mention the tumbleweeds rolling down the dusty streets of ABQ. They are everywhere.

@realjohnboy,
My future tumbleweeds are still rooted at this time. Remember, I live next to the petroglyphs. Tumbleweedomania.

I shoulda picked east of the river, and actually bid on that place with the toe sized bathroom in the cool neighborhood.. and backed out. (Slaps self.) And I'm as annoyingly liberal as you can get.

Adds, BBB and Butrflynet are westies too. But even that is complicated, as BBB and Asherman used to be good friends. Nothing is simple in River City. Where's that tequila?

@ossobuco,
Also, Fox and I talk. We both have stuff going on, but we do plan to meet and I think we will. Maybe we'll keep it a secret. Meantime, I need to perservere and win this week.

Halladay (Blue Jays) and Shields (Rays) face each other tonight.
I have both of them.
Should I sit Shields?
(Try saying that five times fast!)

After this week, there are only 3 weeks left in our matchups. Then we go to the playoffs. I note that Tico set it up such that only 6 of us make the playoffs.
That is fine, but...
With 6, if you look at the league standings, the race is over and a couple of those 6 get bye weeks in the playoffs.
If it is not too late, I am wondering if we could go to 8 players making the playoffs - something I have argued for in other games - no byes.
Sure enough, the 'Necks would get in, but look at the league standings and note that there would be a hell of a contest for 8th.
If there is even a murmur of dissent about this, I will shut up.

Good morning! This week will see a couple of big wins/losses plus some close matches that I predicted by flipping coins.
1) Fbaezer will win big and solidify his hold on #1 at .579;
2) Gargamel will lose by a big enough margin to slip to #3 at .557;
3) George will lose his match but will claim #2 with .561;
4) Tico will go nowhere and will remain at #4 with .546;
5) Pantalones will have a good week but stay in #5 at .536;
6) McGentrix will be right behind, hanging on to #6 with .530;
7) Johnboy will end up in #7 with .503 with no room to move up or down.
Then it gets interesting with a mere .016 separating #8 through #13;
8) Jespah will slip to #9 with .476 after a narrow loss;
9) Fox will have a good week and take #8 with .479;
10) Alex will not have a good week and will end up in #11 with .465;
11) Osso will take advantage of the opportunity to take #10 at .474;
12) JPinMilw will slip to #13 with .463;
13) ElStud, like Alex, will end with .465 but I have him only getting to #12;
14) Mysteryman will languish at the bottom with .373.
I could end up with a record number of wrong picks this week!

@realjohnboy,
How do you figure Fox has a good week losing 11 to 4? That's good? I've been looking at this all wrong.
