Afhanistan/Pakistan, were lost causes from the beginning, this will be throwing good lives away for nothing.

it would have been better if they'd have been the only cause in the first place

without iraq, afghanistan might be in better shape

my problem with afghanistan, our guys (canada) have spent a lot of time and money trying to help the people, and even though it looks like a lost cause, it would be nice to see if a few more bodies on the ground could help

pakistan was a big mistake, bush made useless deals with sharif, while planning to depose a dictator the us had cut similar deals with years before, some kind of weird irony there
